Not too sure which book they were reading...

In my opinion this movie is nothing like the book and that isn't a good thing and it normally never is. This looks like its going be a fun and funny movie but what happened to this story being creepy and scary?? I remember the book having a very eerie feeling that left chills all over my body i don't see that happening from the preview of this movie. I really want to know why cant they ever stick to the story especially when its really good? I'm still going to watch it because it looks like a great laugh i don't expect to feel how i felt after reading the book this is like a spin-off of the original story.

Agreed, there's no way it's going to be as good as the books, though admittedly i still can't wait to watch it lol. I've read the entire series about a dozen times and it's one of my favorites, i really hope the movie doesn't suck too horribly, it'll be a big let down if it does :(

tip to all writers,,,dont let the hollywood money-hungry take up your films. go with people who actually read the story...PROPERLY. These guys haven't taken anything into consideration when making it. Only that the main character's name is Darren...plus the other rare similarities
