WTF happened in the end?

How can they just jump the cliffhanger in Time, to a new episode completely disconnected to the last one?

They were trying to be *edgy* and what not, with leaving "Time" open-ended. *Edgy* and *dark* are the cool new things for the Stargate Franchise, don't you know.
It's kind of like a pimply little nerd trying to rock a motorcycle jacket. Just doesn't work.
Stick with what you're good at, Stargate Franchise. Your fans liked you a lot better back when you were funny and charmingly cheesy.

Ok... you people really don't get the point... it was given that they solved it...why the hell do they have to show the dreary crap?
It's implied... done..

At last! someone else who found their jump from 'time' to 'life' dissappointing and wierdit was clearly left open for the next episode to be kick ass and stargatey. but instead they left out the part where they utillized the more detailed info left at the end and saved the day!you cant just imply a whole episodes worth of stuff happened and no one was hurt, killed or changed in anyway... we need some sort of indication that it happened otherwise 'time' just seems to be an episode that took place in a parallel universe!

Do you know what the difference is between SGU and a burrito?
Taste-- which SGU has none of:
T- TalentA- ActionS- SuspenseT- Travel to other planets as the focus of the showE- Expect 1 season then gone. OK, they have this 1, but only this one.

I believe if you do not understand what had happened at the end of episode "Time" and if you believe they should have explained more about it in the next episode then you must have the intellectual equivalent of a chimp or maybe even a dog! I'm not trying to be rude people but they are not trying to break down the laws of calculus for you or anything...jeez. Its just a story line that takes a second of thought from someone who does not have to be that intelligent to understand!!!!!
When Scott sent out the second Kino message (which was very short and to the point) into the past he had given the crew of the Destiny the limited time needed and the final piece of the puzzle to understand that the disease problem did not emanate from the jungle planet. And that it actually occurred way back on the God forsaken ice planet from parasites they unwillingly harvested with the ice and took to Destiny to replenish there quickly dwindling water supply.
So due to the fact of Lt. Scott's bravery and his attempt to send back the second kino with info about the animals sleeping habits and antidote possibility they have due to the fact of the parasites in the water he gave them the info to inoculate everyone before there symptoms became even remotely life threatening! And with that final piece of the puzzle also explaining that the bad ass gross aliens that burrow through your body are nocturnal gave them the chance to send down a party (actually the third one because of the other two time lines died) during daylight hours and take a few specimens of the beast alive to develop the antidote. From the venom captured TJ was able to destroy all the parasites..
Sincerely.Your Friendly Neighborhood Pallister
P.S. Also maybe the problem was you were not wearing your tin foil helmet when you watched the episode...lol.
And I did not even have to watch the short webisode based directly after this episode to figure it out.And I believe if you still don't get it or think they should have wasted an episode to explain this even though all the info is already in the previous episode"time" then maybe you should not watch the show, or better off stop leaving uninteresting questions that wastes everyone time.

Pallister, your are a jackhole with the stupidity of your comment. In Episode 8 Chloe as well as a number of others DIED... as in DEAD, No longer among the living.... this was AFTER they had discovered the cure.... Episode 9 has her just fine and dandy.... Please pretend, for our sake, that you have a working brain cell left in that pea brain of yours!

@Edwinmeyer

Congrats, you didn't understood the plot. Time travel is a confusing thing, no?

At the end of that episode Scott was about to send the Kino back in time once again. Not included in the episode but it should be clear what happened after: back in time again and the crew with Chloe and others alive will find the Kino with the message from future- or alternate timeline-Scott that they need to find the cure and that's it. No one dies. Except in the other timeline(s) where it's all messed up and the whole crew is probably is dead
