Review: Sarah Connor Chronicles - 'The Tower is Tall But the Fall is Short'

This week's ep was a little slow and sloppy, but it did deliver an intense robot chick fight. Where else can you watch a girl twist another girl into a pretzel on Monday night? That stuff doesn't happen on "Dancing with the Stars," does it? More ...!

Actually....I kinda preferred the slowness and character development to the usual hustle and bustle. But that's me. I'm a sucker for john's moping.

Thnx thomtinuviel. I totally agree. I love this human direction the show has taken. It is Humanity at stake in this war.

I too like the pacing of this episode. While I'll always be a 'wham bam thank you ma'am' girl (chick fliks are against my religion :)- I like to see some story developement. Now for a few points
1) Derek's girlfriend is a fifth wheel- and I don't much see the point of her.
2) I can understand the T-1000's choice to leave the daughter alive. It gives her a front. She's a business woman just trying to make a life for herself and her child after a tramatic loss.In fact- Skynet could have ordered her to keep her alive. After all- this is the woman who will 'raise' Skynet- and having to manage a child lead her to the man who will help her figure out how to train past Skynet.
3) As for how Cameron got prezel chick to the house... it's the same as with other series. If a character/ action is out of frame- they are invisible until brought into frame. Not a good reason- but it's the way Hollywood works.
4) I'd like to see some of future John's 'experiements' come back to haunt him- after all- he has a connection with the machines. Skynet MUST know this- and will use this info accordenly.
Anyway- I'm glad this series will hold out a little longer. It's not rocking my world or anything- but it is one of the few series out there that serves the purpose it set out for- simple entertainment.

Anyone stopped to think that maybe the earth would be better off without humankind? Maybe Sarah and John should be on the losing side....

/\ Skynet has infiltrated sidereel! :O
Though this episode's pace was *much* slower then the usual 'action-packed' format of the show [which I've noticed has been declining recently] I enjoyed all the character development...and there was still that scene with Cameron and the other robot chick duking it out.Bring on more T:TSCC [is it just me, or is this the longest show name ever??]
