Teen novels coming about 'Sex and the City' lead Carrie

They should just leave the SEX and the City alone. It's an fabulous show and my favorite, but don't exploit it.

Yeah, I think I agree, mzchio. I love SATC, but these teen books sound a bit lame. It seems like a strange audience reach-out too if these are meant to be novels actually for teens - many of which may not have seen the series. Maybe I'm just behind, but I'd think a lot of younger teens wouldn't be allowed to watch SATC, so I don't like the idea of these new novels being some girls' introduction to the series that's already so well-established with none of that "background" included.

Agreed. Sounds like they are trying to capitalize on the success of books like the Gossip Girl novels.SATC was meant to be for adults...so like the above have commented...leave it be!What's sad it...these will totally sell.
