Samuel - Destroyer of Worlds?

Maybe this is just me thinking too much into things, but in season three, the future they were trying to prevent was one where someone with abilities tore the world in two. Well this episode got me thinking that as Samuel gets his powers amped up when people with abilities are around him, surely (as was in the alternate future) when everyone on the planet has abilities, his powers would be amped up enough to tear the world in two. Could Samuel be the one responsible for that?

Saying that, season three went downhill very fast and there are about 50 different plot threads left hanging from there. I doubt very much if the writers are going to pick up on them and actually give us answers. If i were them i would pretend that the whole thing never happened.

Still... thoughts?

I was thinking the exact same thing, after seeing that image of the world torn apart all over season 3, I was sort of waiting for it to happen. It does seem that Samuel would be the logical cause for that event, but somehow, I don't think the writers are going to tie that back in.

Why not? I mean 1000x amp is quite massive...Means someone will have to kill him before the end of the season. I'm more curious as to what if there were two or more of him. Say Peter copies his ability and/or Sylar copies that ability too (like with Elle). That would be a lot of out of control powers. Just for pure craziness say Ando boosts their combined powers....

Yea I don't see Sylar ever doing the Elle thing again... that's probably like a repressed memory for him. I like where your thinking is going but then that'd be too much. Samuel could have been killed a million times already, if Hiro wanted Charlie back he could go back to any time before she was sent away and prevent it, ugh as master of time and space he can be so useless whats with the writers wanting to nerf everyone but Sylar?

He (Sylar) does the villain thing way too well so it'd be like killing your prize horse. The usual excuse writer's use is too many dead butterflies I think but Hiro has already proved he can alter 1 thing in the past without causing hurricanes everywhere...
