I'm enjoying True Blood...but this just shows that HBO has nothing else on its plate. The show has not exactly proven itself to be a massive success yet (based on numbers or based on reviews, which have been mixed) - certainly not enough to automatically warrant this early renewal.

Woop woop! A second season! Given the mixed reviews and veiwing numbers I thought it may get the axe. Way to go H.B.O!:D

i wont pretend to be any show analyst that I'm not. I'm not neither into wampire series but I've been captured by the whole thing, the cooking scenes, the 'vicious and evil' side of real vampires I mean they have a bestial sexuality, dont live in sunshine, cant bear silver...and the romance between a not-so nice vampire and a girl who obviously more than human but who does not know it and oh well, southern fever transpiring everywhere. I love the way it's directed, I love all the risk taken not to please everyone but keeping to the truth of Charlaine Harris' books, and I like how exotic the setting and acting makes me feel, watching True Blood is a real voyage where actually i'm having quite a Bon Temps !Plus, it's not everyday that a show sends me back to reading (bought and read all the collection of Charlaine Harris in order to wait between sundays: 7 big books!). I think I'm addicted!
