Could be Better....

Watched a few episodes and just could not get into it...I will try it again some other time but I guess they could do better with the show but being the first of its kind is alright.

I felt the same way about Battlestar Galactica and Lost shows. I just couldn't get into them. We all have our niche I guess.Heroes isn't really the first of it's kind. There was another show called The 4400 that was somewhat similar in regards to people having supernatural powers; some good, some bad and the end result was to avert catastrophe.I do like Heroes and maybe if you watch a couple more epi's you'll get a better idea of the story line. It's pretty scattered about in the beginning. Kinda like reading a Stephen King novel.

I agree with zaniac that Heroes does start out a bit scattered. I liked it watching the first few episodes, but got completely hooked after maybe about 5 episodes where the story starts to make more sense yet gets crazy at the same time - most people found Season 2 lacking though after Season 1 got really good, so I think we'll really see where it's going when we get it back in the fall!

I will try a few more episodes, but being a first of its kind via the comic book style. That style is tempting but I would like to see a show with a better story line take it and see what happens. Kind of like the Alone in the Dark video game that uses a TV-Show style to it...amazing concept, poor storyline.

The story gets better with each episode. But I do agree with kendra season 2 wasn't as good, but that was mainly because of the writers strike. Hopefully all of my waiting for season 3 wont be in vain and they will do it justice. By the way I didn't even start watching till the first season was off of TV. I was just looking for something different. I'm into different.

i actually think season 2 was better after the disappointing let down of season 1 finale. Its less random in season 2, people dont just bump into eachother for no reason. Plus the story has more direction...

I agree with R3V.I totally respect everyone's opinions but I can't get into it (i have watched 5 episodes). However, I am going to continue because the beginnings of shows can be slow. Also, a few of my friends love it and I'm usually quite open to anything so there's no reason I won't start liking it. I definitely want to get to season 2 when David Anders comes in ;)

it does seem kinda slow in the beginning but it does pick up. I agree with ac905, i think season 2 was better all the characters were pretty well established by then so the story moved along a bit more. The first few episodes of season 1 kind of just introduced the characters, so if you watch more into the season and season 2 you'll probably end of liking it, at least i did.

i didn't start out watching the first few episodes first. I was bored and this show came on TV so i watched it. It was like the 6th episode. I was sooo confused (and i hate being in the dark). So i went online & watched up to the episode i saw. By that point i was hooked and couldnt stop watching. It gets really intense. The first finale was disapointing but season 2 it picks up again...but thanks 2 the writers strike its not as good as it wuld have been.

i'm obsessed with Heroes! i love it and i definitly think it's one of the top best tv shows out there. hahaha i love how ac905 pointed out that people randomly bumped into each other in season 1, come to think of it.. that's very true! haha oh well, it's still a great show!

Season 1 was really good until the letdown of the finale. Season 2 was appalling!I was not remotely interested in: Hiro and Adam in ancient Japan, the brother and sister yawning their way through their storyline or the pointless nonsense in Ireland where Peter appeared to start falling in love with the most unattractive Irish woman I have ever seen. Don't even get me started on the dreadful Irish accents. It picked up a bit once Sylar was on the scene again but Season 3 had better hit the ground running or I am going to give up on Heroes I'm afraid.
