For those who have read the books!(spoliers)

We all know how sookie and bills relationship turns out, at least to the point charlaine harris has gotten us.

I have heard that Allan Ball is going to base the next season developing their relationship, yes brilliant idea, I wonder though.

For those of us who have gotten through book six, the conversation that takes place between bill, sookie, and eric. Im sure you know which one. Do you really think it is a good idea to devote a season to their relationship? I know what is was like for me reading the books, hoping they would be together and than this major revelation. Now I dont even know who to root for, im sure that is what mrs. harris was going for. So my questions, how did you feel about where the books have brought the story, and do you think it is a good idea to devote a season to sookie and bill?

LOL At Dan... but on another note NO. Because I'm a crazy Eric/Sookie shipper and I wanna see good scenes like the hood scene and ones like that but if its gonna be all bill/sookie i will not be pleased!

Yes, they should because Bill's and Sookie relationship is one of the major aspects of her growth into a stronger person and nothing is set in stone even going into book eight, so any major relationships that are in the book should be in show. The show is based off the books and really as a fan to the serious if the show was completely different from the books, I would not bother watching it because it would ruin the book for me. I do not want to read something and then see something completely different especially when it comes to major characters.

Personally I am hoping that Alan Ball will stay away from completely sticking to the books. I really enjoy the chemistry that Bill and Sookie have, and would hate to see their relationship end the way it does in the books.

Thats exactly how i feel. I would love to see them work out. I would hate to have their relationship go so completely wrong like it did in the books. I rooted for the bill/sookie relationship until eric forced him to admit why he was in bon temps in the first place, now i dont even like his character. I hope Mr. Ball changes the storyline.

I totally agree with mama23nluv! He had had great personnal touches to teh whole, so what it's an adaptation, something which reminds you the original but which has got it's true personnality, just like the cover of a song! By the way, I love Mandy Moore cover of Rihanna 'Umbrella' ! Bill and Sookie forever!

I am pretty sure that Bill at least has the exactly same agenda he had in the books...what with that conversation with the evil 3 about higher authorities and stuff.
I am okay with a season dedicated to Sookie and Bill'd relationship, as long as there is the additional elemt in it we have come to love in the books. And Living dead in Dallas has such nice Eric scenes....I hope they don't abandon these, for it would hurt Eric and Sookie's developement.(A season of nothing but Bill and Sookie stuff might end up quite....Moonlight-like boring. I really hope we can avoid that.)

I'm kind of hoping the series will stick more to the books on how everything works. A whole season just about Sookie and Bill would get boring and i think kinda of frustrating (at least to me) because things would be said or mentioned that wouldn't be so important in the future or be contradicted later on. It would almost be just like a filler season to me.

*ROOTING FOR ERIC AND SOOKIE!☺☺*

A whole season based on Sookie & Bill - SERIOUSLY how far can you draw that out?!
I can't wait for Sookie & Eric... plus some of the other men she shows interest in! She needs character development & she got quite a bit by dating the variety of men as she learnt all the diff aspects of the supernatural world.
