weeds season 5 episode 5 van nuys

The spiral of this once great show into oblivion has continued with this latest installment the complete lack of vision and meandering storyline is conspiring to completely kill what has made this show so great.Shanes story has been the only one in recent time to have developed his character based on what has been going on around him every other character is in a state of flux I have found the saga of esteban and his child to be a catastrophe because it keeps eteban in the show he is by far the worst character in the show and must die soon in order to redeem this show.nancy's recent decision for her and shane to live with esteban is a misguided one it will lead to more disaster for the characters and the show.

Well, if you paid any attention to the show, you would know that everything is intentional.Andy just said in the episode that Nancy does this to herself. It is all her doing. She is the only one who is letting herself go so far while everyone around her is trying their best to save her from herself. It's still funny. I honestly busted up laughing when Ignacio cried out about the bird! Ahh...let's not forget the good bit of the "DEAD MEXICAN!".Not to mention Andy impersonating Judah. It was also good to see Nancy step back into her motherly role when she threatened Shane's bitch of and English teacher. Hopefully I was not the only one who caught on to the "humanity" bit.Sure, Weeds has taken a turn towards the darker side but it's still funny."Abort the gopher". Ah...another good one.

you can tell a bad review (i don't mean the review is criticizing the show, but that the review is badly written) when it starts off with inane buzzwords, like "lack of vision" or "meandering storyline".
you're simply an idiot for that!
btw, great episode, loved the shane bit.

To appreciate dark story lines is an acquired taste. What makes Weeds still great and continue to be great is the morality and ethics. Having another installment of the lighthearted and non-consequential chain of events will only lead to boredom. Weeds, I agree has downgraded slightly but then again this whole new perspective yields more merit than you credit it. I hope this season 5 will finally conclude Weeds because one more season and pretty much it will be a complete drag...

It's always great fun to jump on the hate bandwagon. You see one person veering offtrack, he or she says something negative. Then you think, ah, maybe I should as well. Regardless, you're a moron, OP. The show may be comedy, but it can sprout into whatever it wants, because it does it WELL. This is perfect drama, with splashes of humour.

I too hate esteban BUT he is DAMN sexy - if he wasnt that SCAARYRYYYYYY that accent gives me the creeps. (BRRR wouldnt want to be next to him. He looks nicer from the picture!)
I think andy is very funny with the beard - but also can see that this storyline just cant go farther? or can it?
What dark side? I am guessing this is just a part of the world we live in. Everywhere there is drugs an drama very much like it.Didnt you hear about the australian mafia story? its like a bestseller! (wonder when theyre gonna publish it hehehehe)
