Dollhouse 'Omega' Review

***SPOILER ALERT***

Dollhouse has faced many challenges when it came to delivery. Not many series' carry this type of burden when it comes to telling a story. This episode was much better than I'd anticipated. Last week when Echo went running off with Alpha, I believed maybe Echo and Alpha formed some kind of pact together and they had some kind of heated romance thing going on. The fact that Alpha planted Echo with a personality he favored for her was a different twist.

Alpha, played by Alan Tudyk, caught me off guard last week, I wouldn't have guessed that such a douche would be Alpha, but he proved to be more than crazy could handle.

It's funny when you think about it, even though he killed Caroline, he really didn't, she could easily be implanted into someone else.

Madeline seemed more like Millie there. Do you think she remembered a fragment of Paul, or was it just natural attraction.

Paul also had guts, asking Mellie or November, for her imprinted name. What was he trying to accomplish? To see if she still remembered him maybe?

Paul Ballard fit in pretty well in the Dollhouse...

Don't you love how Sierra is always imprinted with a 'smart-a**' personality :D...

I tried placing a link to my blog only to find out it's banned. What's going on?
Why didn't I get any type of warning or update. I posted the link before and nothing...
I guess you all could read the rest of the Review from the above link. Is anyone else experiencing this problem. I placed another link in the review and it worked fine?

Y'know, for the psychotic genius that Alpha was, you'd think he'd see it coming that with over 30 people in her head, Echo was bound to be uncontrollable. Psychologically, it was a given. In other words: I totally knew she was gonna hit him in the head with that pipe.I thought Omega was beyond cool... But I imagine that, had she been all those people for much longer, she'd probably go gloriously insane, Alpha style.
There's some things I don't understand in your review. You mention Paul asking Mellie/November for her imprinted name. But he wasn't, right? She was back to her original self, Madeline. He was asking her REAL name.
Also, they didn't put Whiskey in an office position because they "needed her there". If they could've wiped her memory from Alpha and use her again, they would have, but the point is that her face was cut up, making her unusable in engagements.
Lastly: "what did think about Echo and Alpha having multiple brains, wouldn't your head explode if it's anything like a computer?"Don't forget that the brain is more complex than a computer, therefore, it can handle it... sort of. Well...... there's still the issue of the madness. I guess it's a bit much, yea....
Anyway, great episode. Ballard is *so* part of the gang now. XD

Good points.I knew she would have turned on Alpha at some point, I didn't even cringe when she held the pole, but as for Whiskey; by saying they needed her in the office position rather than the field, I merely meant that maybe she wouldn't have been as effective on the field, after all she did have the number one title for 'most requested doll', so it would be best for her to remain in an office position, something more isolated, because her scared face reflected how she was inside.
Yes Madeline was released from her contract of five years. We hadn't really learnt much, but we did know she was an ex-con, and the death of her child was what may have sent her off to the Dollhouse. I wondered if she remembered Paul in her Doll state. She did seem attracted to him, like she knew him in a life before. :)
As for the multiple brains, a normal human mind would explode, not in the literal sense, but as you pointed out Omega/Echo would have gone mad sooner or later.
I was actually surprised this was the finale. We uncovered many 'behind the closest' questions, but it didn't give that big bang. I think we all need another season of some sort to give us that effect. There are still many questions left unanswered.
Echo is not ever completely wiped, she remembers a lot of off mission tasks and her real name (Caroline).
We still do not know Paul's obsession with Caroline (the root of it).
How about how far back Adelle's relationship went with Victor.

yea thats what i was really confused with too what happened with saunders and topher? i was not expecting for her to have been a doll that was shock to me, i love that ballard is part of the dollhouse now and instead of freeing caroline he wanted to free november. i really hope the show gets renewed i really want to see what happens next season.
