Is this the last season?

Has anyone heard if this is the last season of OTH? It seems like they are getting ready to shut this down, everyone seems to be getting ready to head in different directions? This seems like an odd thing to do especially in the middle of the season or are they setting it up to have a long farewell?

If this is the end of this show they have to going back Lucas and Peyton at least for a show or two, it wouldn't seem appropriate to end it without two of the most pivotal characters.

No announcement yet on whether it is or it is not. I think it will depend a lot on what new fall shows they develop for next year, and whether or not they decide to renew Melrose Place (and how the new Life UneXpected does when that premieres). It all depends on how much space there is on the schedule and of course...money.But OTH is a very reliable performer for the CW - it does better than Gossip Girl, 90210, Melrose... - so I honestly think as long as the rest of the actors (or mainly...Sophia Bush, James Lafferty and Bethany Lenz...) want to stick around that they will keep it around.
