no way! heroes doesnt even compare to prison break! p.b is a million times better.heroes season one was really good, but season 2 ruined it for me and now i dont even wach season 3 cuz its so ridiculous, any storyline is pointless cuz they can just go back in time and change it all again, even waching claire die is a farce cuz we know shes gonna come back to life again so theres no point and there are a million other problems with heroes, all the characters have changed so much they dont have distinct personalities anymore. only HRG is interesting and that says it all really.
prison break has repeated the season one theme, but they kind of have to cuz the show is about breaking and entering. but theres just something about the nature of the show that makes it so good. they could literally repeat season one exactly and it would still be good. it probably wouldnt last another season though, but thats not a bad thing really.
heroes just doesnt appeal anymore, probably cuz they changed writers, but the show had potential and now that its gone so boring and predictable i dont think it'l ever be as good as it started out. all downhill from now. surely you only need to save the world once before it gets boring.
it would have been better if they started the series introducing a few characters at a time and having a new storyline each couple of episodes for atleast 2 seasons and then gradually over a few seasons built up the show to combine characters storylines in order to form a major plot involving all characters until an eventual end to the whole show, atleast that could have lasted 7 seasons like smallville. there was too much packed into one season that made season 2 an anti-climax and then heroes lost all its viewers...

I was not talking story wise, I just meant that the dynamics between the two sets of brothers are a bit alike for the moment and that they both sometimes fell like it should've endend episodes ago and then something interesting happen to chance your mind.

Stago - i can see by your writing,(by referring to Michael as Pete?) that you do indeed confuse the shows, and are possibly a lot more than that, but remember that they do not film these in a week and any similarities between the 2 shows at the moment must simply be coincidental. What was it for? well watch the episodes again and listen to what the characters say as the motivations behind the separate break up of the brothers on heroes and P.B are for totally different reasons. (P.B's makes much more sense to me). Also, when you have brothers in a show, conflict between them is practically a gospel truth that writers to follow.
GGirl_CB4BW - surely you must understand the motivation behind the concept of shows like heroes and P.B (and lost) ; that a story reaches culmination over a season, not over 1 or 2 episodes, which makes viewers tune in every week. If you could only see a few characters at a time, and had to wait 2 seasons for a major story line to emerge with all of them involved, viewers would not watch it. The reason Smallville and other similar shows work like that is they have a core cast which appear every episode and go on adventures which have deus ex machina solutions.I do agree with you over the poor quality of story during season 2, but this was due to the writers strike; forcing Heroes to squeeze a 24 episode plan into half that, hence the rushed and boring ending.
P.S. that gripe about a story being pointless due to time travel is ridiculous. Changes to the time line either show there was actually never any change, and things had to happen that way, or the affect changes have never give the desired result, making for fun twists.

sorry about the Pete mistake, its just a mistake. I am not confused, I am aware that they are very different shows and agree that it is nothing more than a coincindence, didn't mean to suggest that they are completely copied from one another.
