Why when they have a major medicle crisis they just use the communication stones and get a real docter or better yet switch with Carter or Mckay so they can fix everything.
This seems like a major plothole to me wouldn't you agree.

I thought the same thing everytime a character uttered the phrase: "these people aren't supposed to be here."
Exactly what I was thinking, adding it has some good aspects like talking with people on earth like O'Neill, yet it introduces a major plot hole. Which is, why can't they just keep switching back and forth with scientist in order to solve the problems. And if their answer is "power", it appears that the Destiny has a "recharger" seen in "Darkness".
They can't reach Carter. She's busy with her own show called Sanctuary so SGU is on their own. :O
This is a one season show folks, if you like it--you'd better break out the DVR space.
Just one man's opinion.
Quite simply put....agreed, it is definately a plothole and tbh im pretty bored of seeing every one go back to earth via the stones and visit their family and i especially agree with "sftech" if they dont pull something outta the hat real soon i think every one is going to get very bored of this.
über-crap. these ancient soapstones will certainly make me jump into a giant, running, hypersonic blender anytime soon.
i have to admit that probably:
20% of sgu's audience would love to see that, because they wanna be somehow different and edgy, even if that means to suck innnnncredible hard...
10% would be relieved to get rid of this critical voice because they are crew and cast and they earn there money with it....
20% won't care at all because they are just tuning in by accident....
finally, 50% would be very sad because they would've lost a fellow fan. And may be they would even stop to dvr it for watching 5 mins and fast forwarding the rest.
But untill then i'll continue to say that this show is somehow as appealing to me as a swingerparty with 20 clones of margaret thatcher.
thx a lot for reading
