The writers just can't let any characters die, can they?

Heroes

How can I put it? First season was amazing..the ideas..the characters..the shady silent killings of sylar.. The finale was wonderful..an epic battle..With Hiro fulfilling his destiny(being a hero), Nathan saving Peter.Linderman dying.Sylar being stopped..it was all good..Then came the

Season 2,3,4(and the holes just kept getting bigger and bigger)

Throughout the seasons, the writers of heroes manage to save every single one of the important characters..Sylar was supposed to be dead but miraculously survived heroes sword running through him..Im not sure exactly where he was stabbed but i assume a blade running through you added

together with no medical attention will definitely lead to bleeding out..within 24-48 hours..

Nathan survives the burning of a nuclear explosion given that he fell away before Peter blew up.. and continues to survive until Adam gives him the blood Three months later i might add.(i mean radiation doesn't get emitted from a nuclear bomb blast and it doesn't affect the human body in any other way than burning it).i mean the lengths the writers go to save their "heroes"

Sylar (yay) is back in season 3 with fully blown powers but no he has to transform into his mother and grow a conscious and figure out that he is sorry for killing her.Way to go the powerful crazy killer..cry about mommy..

Talk about out of character.. Finally he is supposed to die...Hurrah..Matt changes him into Nathan cause Nathan shouldn't die..

But then No wait he is back..in Matt's consciousness..Where is he going to pop up next? Oh no Nathan is showing signs of Sylar returning..Who knew that would happen?

Tracy Strauss won't die..No, they have to find some other way of keeping Ali Larter in the show again..First Nikiki then Tracy why dont they say that they have another twin..oh wait they did and she died so no options there..So then she must survive the gun shot and live in hopes of killing those who killed her..

Micah has all vanished..He just stopped being there..Compliments of Sylar..He just added another loose end to the story..

Claire cant die anyway so i guess we are stuck with her.. She always finds away to show off her skills to some innocent bystander..Her friend form the 1st season..west..then in the new season the girl..Please she says she wants a new life everytime with no distractions due to her powers..But underneath ATTENTION SEEKER!!

The company is back once again..A continuously recurring phenomenon that refuses to die..Angela Pettrelli Always wants the Company running..oh and her children safe..never forget that..Her company captures, tortures and kills people like her but she and her children are safe..Thumbs UP!(also all the founders of the company were people with powers..way to go double standards..)

The only good thing in the show was the new story line they introduced..with a bloody good actor..Some might know him as T-bag from Prison Break..Seems interesting but we all know where the other story line that was introduced took us..Cayote Sands led us to Angela finding her long lost sister..and well that ends there..

Also does anyone know what Nathan is doing in his office other than for staring at his cup of coffee? And calling Peter.Who has forgotten he has a brother. No people come into his office..it seems empty..He is dressed nicely but..What is he doing? He also always has grand plans to protect and save his family and friends..never happens..

Mohinder just vanished like Micah..Also like Molly..What happened there?

To end Heroes has been on a downward spiral since the 2nd season and I only hope the writers realize that..The continuous use of the same villains..has been really really boring.Everyone doing the same thing. It Normally gets old after 1 SEASON.I think the introduction of the new plot line might lead to some interesting ideas..But then again let's not count our chickens before they hatch..

I agree with you completely; the show doesn't seem to let any character die, bringing them back to "save the day" (or in Syler's case, "kill everyone"), or to provide some insight to some other character's, leading to victory against the recurring villain, Syler. This attachment to character's led to it's gradual decline in popularity, coupled with the need to repeat similar storylines, with Syler as the main villain.Normally, when a character dies, they stay dead, unless they are necessary for a plot, in which they are brought back for a few episodes before being killed. The immortality of the show's character's makes anyone doubt that they are truly killed off. Rather, it can be deduced that an elaborate plot will follow where they will be brought back to keep fighting the only enemy: Syler. The fact that the show has gaping holes in the storyline, where characters disappear and whole event's are blotted out is true. The show was on a downward spiral from the second season onwards, and will crash unless the writer's actually write a script where the the plot holes are filled, the same mundane storyline is discarded and a newer, more effective villains/heroes are created, who ,once dead, actually stay dead, and are only seen in the occasional flashback. If this simple procedure is carried, the popularity of the show should rise to that of season one.

it is weird that they just leave some characters out... at one point molly had to go into hiding because everyone was looking for her, but where is she now? where is doctor suresh? where is micah and his cousin (forgot her name) the copycat.

i like the 1st season and actually liked the 2nd season and dont understand why ppl like the 3rd over 2nd. in my opinion 2 was way better then 3rd. anyway ye i liked the 1st half of season 3. well least i liked peter gettin sylars ability and then being darker and goin to take down the compant or wateva the flavour was at the time but the show lost me the moment they just instantly took all peters powers away. really felt gutted wen it happend and now i struggle to watch it. if i bother watching its only in the hope it mite get good. but its so hard to watch now. i didnt like anything about the new season premiere and cudnt care less bou the new cast. the shows dead to me and dont understand why so many are so desperate to keep it goin just to see if it gets better.

I agree with you!! The 1st Season was AH-MAZING. Then the 2nd Season was like "eh, it's alright." But then the 3rd Season came and I was just wondering, WHEN IS HEROES GOING TO END?!
I know for sure that the ratings have dropped and most fans have stopped watching this show. Most of them was trying to push themselves to watch the 3rd Season but probably stopped watching on the first few episodes. Others, like me, stopped during the 2nd Season (after it got too repetitive).
I just think that Heroes should stop trying to catch back attention they had for Season 1, the story have deformed and changed into a strange, random, and very bloody show. END IT NOW!

Yea exactly. I think they have so many loose ends its ridiculous. I loved micah, wtf man. and molly and mohinder. Everything is in shambles.
they are starting fresh, so im hoping they can make it good. they seriously just need to give the plot and every character an ending. whether its early in the season or at the end. Have the character come to a close and move on. By the end there should just be the remaining core group of characters ther to save the day maybe one guest char to assist or osmething. the villains are all new now and the company seems to be dying off. if anything the company is breaking off. I wouldn't be surprised if the company became a spin off show lol.
clair bear is an idiot. attention seeker to the fullest. can't keep her trap shut or her ability controled. falling out a window of a university dorm and only one girl had the chance to see it? yea right. Why spend an episode on claire making friends, boring. just keep her alive so guys watch it for the hot chick. bleh.
parkman has never been a favorite of mine at all. im glad sylar is messing with him. I hope sylar wins.
I'm just amazed its 3 episodes already and I know so little about anything. there is no real purpose, no core plot yet, no ultimate mission, no revelation from anyone.
There needs to be more of a connection between teh characters.
