Heroes straying away from some old stories still unfinished...

I'm questioning when will they revive the story on the irish bird (peter's girl friend) when it was meant to be such a important thing for peter.. and it seems he has forgotten about her? I knew that the guy who isaac mendez handed the rest of his illustrations to the delivery guy and would play a part later on in the future, and it finally has been mentioned by the comic book store people. so im guessing the irish woman is one of those "mentioned" things but will appear alot later so it can tie in with another future story..

One other thing are these alternate futures/apocalyptic to new york.. new york blowing up firstly, then the virus was the 2nd one which is forgotten about.. now there is the one where everyone has powers.. whats next? oh and sylar blowing up that place not sure if its new york in the future after his son gets killed.

Here's my theory on that since the "irish bird" was taken away from him in an alternate future (where the virus takes over the world) and then he stopped the virus from being released she is now stuck in that alternate timeline. And in doing so was wiped from his memory. It's just a theory. And when Syler blew up in the future it was Costa Verda or something like that. In Claire's house which is one thing I never got how is he living in her house? But now he's back to be a Villain again, so he won't turn into a wimp.

i try to defend the show but when i saw ur topic the same thought flashed in my head about this show b4 even reading what you wrote
lol there is no explaining the irish girl, peter lost her in the future not the past therefor he should remember hersomeone can't be wiped from ur mind if they dispeared from the future only if it was from the past cause u would have never met them
and has anybody realized that the show is more about Syler than peter now?

I'm sure Caitlin's storyline will be addressed at one point. It's the writers' jobs to discuss the series and the storylines, so I'm sure if you've thought of it they have.
Also the show is not just about Sylar, and it was never just about Peter. It's about a lot of characters. What about Daphne's struggle to be good? Or Hiro's memory problems? Or Claire's need to fight? Or Suresh's battle with himself and race to finish the formula? And what about Peter's need to be a hero without his powers?
I think this season is great.

I think know everything is change...
When hero came to pick up claire...First he took sylar and Elle.. you see sylar killing Elle on the beatch its not about the fact he hate her. But his hunger for killing. I think if Hero didnt came he would killed Noah (Claire' dad.) And then Claire would become evil because he killed her family. And Sylar and Elle would become lovers for real and made an baby togther (his son, if you saw.)
But hero change the future again. So know Sylar will kill Elle, and hero is bring claire back to the past to change more of save some strange new/old storyline. And sylar wouldn't become an father i believe.About Caitlin... its anded, just forget it she is stuck in the future. Because Peter forget all about her and the future Peter diddnt spoke about her as wel.
He tried to save her but couldnt do it at that time

There is no way she could come back. Not in a logical way, at the very least. The only way it could be done is if Peter goes back in time and prevents them from ever meeting. Which would make little to no sense story-wise, as well as creating a loop. The other way would be to make Peter prevent himself from destroying strain 138. But releasing it so he can reunite with her? At the cost of 90% of the human population?
She is stuck in an alternate future, which now cannot be accesed. Maybe we'll get a resolution through the online visual novels?

Here's the realistic version. Nobody liked Catilin's character! Nor did anybody like Maya, but I guess she had more support or she worked cheap. But in the Heroes version well she's trapped in a universe where the virus exists. She's probably already dead by now. I guess when he remembered everything, he forgot about Catilin because she was just a present memory and she was in a different part of his memory.
I love how it focuses more about Sylar. I love Peter but it's always on him, so it's nice to have it focus on my other favorite character. Does anybody think Peter's gonna die? SPOILER ALERT. In episode 13, the episode before Volume Four starts, some Heroes are going to be in a plane crash. Peter doesn't even have his powers anymore, if he gets on that plane, what if he dies? =[ I hope he doesn't die. And when is he going to get his powers??????

I agree about them moving on too much from Plot to Plot without really wrapping the previous one up. Now the thing I love about the series are the possibilities of story change & Character change. Hiro and Claire may be the two most important characters in the series. They both have been involved in changing history and the course of events of the future. Peter is also important but I think he's more of a tool to get events moving and changing.
Now Elle getting killed by Sylar might actually come back to haunt him. We saw a version that he was good and know that he was once troubled by his actions of killing at the beginning. He didnt need her power when he already had it but Noah did get to his head about Elle. We only saw him cutting into her head and screaming on the beach. Hiro or Peter can always go back to that moment to save Elle from getting killed fully. I have a strong feeling that she's the key to keeping him normal & Noah is too filled to revenge to really care about anything else other than Claire.
Now when Claire told Noah that she died was a bit curious. He acted as if it was something familiar to him or something he was trying to prevent. We know as long as she has her powers she can never really die and Sylar said she so himself that he couldn't kill her if he tried. We know that roof top at the end of the Eps. is important for some reason. Everything comes back to that roof top and I have a feeling that Hiro & Claire are there to discover their destinies.

Caitlin is trapped in another future where the virus is released.so,when Peter and her go to the future and get her stuck there,it would be a straight timeline.Peter then saves the world from the virus, and caitlin stuck in the past.(if u know wat i mean).Peter would definitely forget about her since she is stucked in the past which is never happen(very confusing..sry about my Language here.im not really got at english)

but if peter somehow did go back to rescue that irish chick the chances are that she would be infected with the virus anyway, but that timeline is gone, vanished, over everything that happened there no longer comes to be so surely she has just vanished into time and space forever........ i think peter will survive his time being powerless and now perhaps we will all get to find out how he got that scar on his face that his future self has......i've always thought that hiro was the most important character of the series because he can go anywhere and stop pretty much anything from happenening his relationship with ando is interesting too he's sort of his spirit guide
now the eclipse has passed does any1 else think there is going to be a boom of new heroes maybe ando gets his power now the one we saw him kill hiro with in the first episode this series
this series is awesome ............... the best one yet

"I want an Irish bird..."
Would that be one that says,"Who's a pretty boyo, who's a pretty boyo?" then?

They are never going to bring Caitlin up again, Tim Kring said that would be looking back instead of forward, he actually said they are just not gonna mention her again

We just need to remember that alternate-universe jumping is not the power of Hiro, or anyone else... therefore, she is gone... totally gone. She will (or at least should) not be reintroduced into the storyline.

The future that Caitlin was trapped in is now the past (June 14, 2008).. But it never came true so it no longer exists. That would mean that Caitlin no longer exists either, wouldn't it? Even if Peter did go back to the date that he left Caitlin she wouldn't be there. If he wanted to save her he'd have to go back to before he first met her, but if he did that he would never meet her and some kinda crazy paradox would happen. So... yeah no more Caitlin.

While everyone (including myself) is obviously concerned about the flux and non continuity of season 2 to season 3,and how they are acting right now as nothing in season 2 was significant besides Nathan's death at the end,and a few other little notations. I think with the most recent episode "Our Father", the show has stabilized and gotten back on track with a story. As before, there was too MANY little stories just going on here and there, and characters dying for no reason. Arthur's character has been sketchy at best at this point, but at least he's out of the picture for now...or so it seems. Syler is longer a goody too shoes going down yellow brick road, and said himself "he'll never change". It's good to see a villain being a villain,I just hope the series stays on track with continuity at this point. Season 3 isn't horrible as most have said,it just tried to pick up the pieces of a half season, and then tried to move on without it entirely. From what I've also heard,Tim Kring fired a few writers a month or so back, and is writing the show again,or at least part of the process. With that said, hopefully this mess will be all sorted out,and the show will get back to it's roots. I can't wait for the next episode, crossing my fingers that saving the cheerleader can save the series.
