How Bravo's 'Work of Art' Works It

Wednesdays on Bravo will soon be offering up some eye-popping eye candy, when Work of Art: The Next Great Artist premieres. The network has always prided itself on the creative shows it has produced throughout the years, and this one might just top the list. While it could be visual arts at its finest, it's been made accessible to everyone thanks to reality television.

Andy Cohen, Bravo's Senior Vice President, revealed just how exciting this new venture is for the network. He told Vanity Fair about the so-called high-concept show, saying "Look--we've done it with food and fashion and hair and interior design, I think we can do it with art."

Confident that Work of Art will indeed work, Cohen credits the creative minds of the producers for it. As many might know, the show is backed up by actress Sarah Jessica Parker's production company Pretty Matches, and Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz of Magical Elves. They're responsible for top-rating shows like Project Runway and Top Chef, so we can trust them to know that this new series can survive.
