Lawsuit Against Jersey Shore Moves Forward

A New Jersey judge has allowed a lawsuit against Jersey Shore that claims the show's producers engaged in a "criminal enterprise" by airing fights deliberately instigated by cast members to proceed, according to The Associated Press.

Filed in March by attorney Eugene LaVergne, the lawsuit seeks unspecified damages on behalf of three clients, who were involved in drunken altercations with cast member Ronnie Magro, The AP reports.

Calls and e-mails to MTV were not immediately returned.
