Yes, The Event is building its promotional campaign around teasing viewers about what the thing in it's title is. But it's producers have a promise: they'll tell you soon.
"Everything's designed to answer questions so you're not frustrated, feeling ripped off, feeling like we don't know what we're doing," executive producer Evan Katz said at a Comic-Con panel for the series Saturday. "We're just trying to be smart and good to the fans in the audience and keep people guessing in kind of a fair way."
