New 'Clash of the Titans' Photo Sees Mad Perseus

Not much of "Clash Of The Titans" has been shared aside from several photos and behind-the-scenes footage, but Empire Magazine has brought forth another taste of Sam Worthington's portrayal of Perseus. The newest issue of the magazine, which is already on sale, features a mad-looking son of Zeus on the cover as well as in the article inside.

Prior to the outing of the cover shot, MTV has aired first look at the action fantasy on September 4 during "Behind the Screen" special. The exclusive footage presented sneak peek in two forms; a set visit and B-roll. Both of the videos show never-before-seen footage from the film's shooting location.

"Clash of the Titans" is a modern version of the 1981 Greek mythology film. It revolves around Perseus. Helpless to save his family from Hades, he volunteers to lead a mission to defeat the vengeful god of the underworld before Hades can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth.

Sam Worthington leads as Perseus with supports from Gemma Arterton as Io, Liam Neeson as Zeus, Mads Mikkelsen as Draco, Jason Flemyng as Acrisius and Alexa Davalos as Andromeda. This movie is directed by the man behind "The Transporter 2" and 2008's "The Incredible Hulk", Louis Leterrier, and eyes a March 26, 2010 U.S. release.
