You Don't Have to Know Football to Love The League

The stars of The League are willing to do anything for their show. And when we say anything, that includes barraging NFL players twice their size.

"There was one scene where I had to insult [Baltimore Ravens linebacker] Terrell Suggs, and everyone was like, 'We don't want to tell him that you're going to insult him - just go up and insult him,'" star Paul Scheer tells TVGuide.com. "Here's a guy who runs people over on the field and I had to insult him, but he started laughing. I was like, 'Thank God.'"

Suggs is one of many NFL players appearing on the fantasy football comedy this year. After a six-episode first season, the series returns to FX on Thursday for Season 2.
