One of the husbands featured on The Real Housewives of New Jersey is in hot water. Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice, the husband of Teresa Giudice, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence after crashing his car into a telephone pole in New Jersey, reports People.
According to Police Captain Ed Rosellini, authorities responded to an emergency call made at 1:47am after Joe's car struck a telephone pole. Joe was at the scene when police arrived and was then taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was reportedly "minutes" from his home though it wasn't clear where he was heading when the crash happened. What's clear, however, is the fact that he made a poor decision before getting behind the wheel of his vehicle.
Unfortunately, this wasn't Joe's only run-in with the law. After he was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain his traffic lane, police discovered outstanding warrants out of Clifton, NJ for violating city ordinances--- which have not been disclose as of this moment. Subsequently, Joe was taken to Clifton and was held on $2,625 bail before being released later this morning, according to The Daily Record.
As of this moment, there is no word yet if this will affect Joe's appearance on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which has been renewed last October for a sophomore run.
