Preview of 'Smallville' 8.14: Requiem

Between love and humanity, Clark is torn. In the next "Smallville", Clark must choose to protect Lana or to let her get a revenge against Lex. Also in the episode called "Requiem", there will come a new DC villain.

An explosion at LuthorCorp kills all the Board members and injures Oliver, who was there to announce the merger of his company with LutherCorp. Oliver believes that Lex is responsible for the blast, but Clark and Lana learn that the bomber is Winslow Schott (guest star Chris Gauthier), a toymaker and former Queen Industries employee with a grudge against Oliver.

"Requiem", airing February 5, is one of the few last episodes where Kristin Kreuk who plays Lana will appear. Rumor has it, the character will be given a "beautiful send-off" but Kreuk declines to affirm it, only saying " there are a lot of tears".

The only tears i shed will be tears of happiness! I feel nothing but contempt for lana, and i find her utterly infuriating! If she ends up killing lex, or somehow having a part in lex's death i will honestly kick off! She needs to get over it, its not like she did that badly out of being with lex, she seems to have a near limitless amount of money, which i very much doubt she had any part in earning! I honesly feel for lex, i mean if he had known before what an absolute psycho ex-girlfriend she would turn into, i am sure he would have steered clear! The fact that she now has superpowers that rival clarks is aggrivating beyond measure, i mean seriously, what are the writers playing at? It would have been much better to let Lex get that suit, have him kill lana for once and for all, and then have an epic battle with Clark!

lol i totally agree with you esrdin. I too find lana annoying and the idea of keeping her around is pretty idiotic. Lois has had very little air time ever since she came back! how can clark develop feelings for her when freakin' lana keeps hanging around. I think her departure at the end of season 7 was perfect.

you know what! i think the lana character was gd in season 1, 2 and 3 as she departs to Paris and i can even understand her coming back in season 4 or louis can get an idea of clarks past but COME ON how long will she hang around and even after season 7! i was secretly celebrating and when louis is there to comfort him made the ending even better... but going off to paris seemed like a gd idea and it sent the message that the show was progressing and then have a few apperences! what do you guys recon??????

God bless the guy who will kill her... It`s always the same, really. Clark loves Lana - she loves him too (at least i think) - she goes away. And that a couple of times in 8 Seasons... Besides Erica Durance (Lois) fits much better to Clark than this little tiny thing called Lana.

Totally agree with you guys. I hate lana...she is such a drag to the shows storyline and clarks life. When ever she comes around everthing revolves around her. Glad she is gone at the end of the episode!
