'Megan Wants A Millionaire' Star Gets a New Show

Her show may be canceled, but Megan Hauserman is not taking the blame. The star of "Megan Wants a Millionaire" will be featured in a new reality show now that "Millionaire" was taken off air due to a homicide case involving one of the contestants, Ryan Jenkins.

In order to keep Megan quiet about Jenkins' criminal case and to compensate her loss of air time, VH1 offered the 27-year-old her own show. A source told RadarOnline that before axing "Millionaire", VH1 "promised Megan her own show...that's how they bought her silence."

No more detail is released about the new show but the source said it will no longer employ the dating theme. Plus, it may as well be an unscripted show despite Megan's request of having it scripted.

Prior to "Millionaire", Megan has participated in other shows by VH1 such as "Beauty and the Geek", "Rock of Love", "For the Love of Money" and "Charm School".

On August 24, "Megan Wants A Millionaire" was officially terminated after only three episodes airing. Ryan Jenkins was found dead hanging in a motel room just a few days after his model wife Jasmine Fiore was discovered inside a dumped suitcase. "I Love Money 3" where Jenkins also competed in, was also denied a broadcast.

"There's not really much to add to that by way of commentary. Tragedy begets tragedy. Of course, our sympathy goes out to the friends and families of Jasmine Fiore and Ryan Jenkins, as it has for the past several days," VH1 said in its statement.
