Interesting arguement developing that Baltar is the last Cylon - I like the guys arguements, they seem to hang together, but what say you all????

Well the actor's initials are JC...
As are mine, but I aint making any claims! It occurs to me, IF this is so, and there's a big decision has to be made at the end, would Roslin (another strong contender) or Baltar be the false prophet? Which will lead them to doom?
I question who "them" is in that phrase. I mean, the perspective is always the hybrid. Is them the humans or the cylons. When the hybrid says to Kara, "you will lead them all to their end" which race is she predicting for? So the discussion about the false prophet and leading them to doom, again we lack perspective. Would you agree? Personally, I think it's Roslin and the chamalla has interfered with her awakening.
That's a good point Jackie, which them did she mean? Oh, yet another mystery...I guess it depends on what the aim of the series is - is it to get the humans to earth (has anyone asked us if we'd welcome them?) or is it to allow the Cylons to destroy earth and wipe out humanity (thought that was their original aim, or am I wrong?) or is it to establish the Cylons as the next stage in human evolution or what??? And what will the last 5 cylons do - what is their prior programming - or do they have any at all? Is that what makes them different? Can't wait to find out!
Hi Fudgefase! Yes, I agree I don't understand why the humans are working with the rebel cylons regarding the location to earth. who is to say that once they all get there, the cylons don't again try and rid it of humanity. I think you are on the right track with the next evolution of in human development.
I've heard a rumor that when they reach earth it's like 10,000,000 years ago. And at the end, the camera cuts to a present day archeological dig that finds Human, Cylon, and a child of the two's remains lain side by side. both the cylon and the child have electronics in their skeletal system, of course. I think an ending like that would just leave us with more questions than answers.
Damn, why did I have to be a descendant of the Chief (short, dark haired, heavier set) instead of the tall, beautiful, elegant 6?I don't really like the idea, though the image of the grave is striking, because it would imply that we could breed all the cybernetics out of the Cylons completely, and I don't go for that. It would be too much of a them and us situation, what with all the active volcanoes etc at the time - and I thought the 13th tribe stayed behind while everyone left in the space ships? That suggests a certain amount of technology that we don't yet possess.Maybe they get to earth and it's barren - after all, the twelve tribes must have left for a reason - global climate change for instance?I dunno. I guess there are still too many ways it could go, so I'll have to (reluctantly) wait and see.
I THINK THAT THE LAST OF THE FINAL FIVE COULD BE BALTHAR, ROSLIN, OR ADAMA. IT HAS TO BE, IN MY OPINION THAT LAST PERSON ANYONE WOULD IMAGINE. AS TO THE FALSE PROPHET (IF IT IS NOT ONE OF THE FINAL FIVE) I WOULD IMAGINE THAT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE ROSLIN OR ADAMA BECAUSE EVERYONE HAS HAD COMPLETE FAITH IN THEM ALL ALONG WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SARAK WHO HAS ALWAYS QUESTIONED THEM BOTH. AND THE QUESTION OF WHO THE HYBRID MEANT WHEN SHE SAID KARA WOULD LEAD THEM TO THEIR DOOM, IS A GREAT ONE. THERE MUST BE A PURPOSE TO THE FINAL 5. MAYBE THEIR PURPOSE IS TO UNITE THE CYLONS WITH THE HUMANS. WHO KNOWS...
