Report: Southland and TNT Close to Deal - Featured

Southland may be getting a second shot.

The cop drama is close to securing a deal with TNT, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The trade reports the deal to resurrect Southland is likely but not yet complete. Talks began soon after NBC halted the Warner Bros. production.

Canceled by NBC before its second season premiere, the John Wells-produced show has already completed six episodes for the new season.

TNT, Warner Bros. and John Wells Productions refused to comment.

I really hope they get this sorted! I love this show and would hate it if it just dies.

What would be hilarious is if this show beat out every show on NBC as far as rating are concerned when TNT picks this up. I would just love to see NBC fall flat on their face because they aren't able to decide what is valid and what is not valid as far as TV shows are concerned.
