Michael Nouri is joining the cast of All My Children.
The 64-year-old actor will play Caleb McGraw, a recluse whom Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) meets after she crashes her plane into his mountainside home. She destroys his house, and Caleb forces Erica to fend for herself in the remote area.
Nouri's first episode will air Monday, May 24.
"We look forward to working with Mr. Nouri as he uses his vast experience and talent to bring the unique and complex character of Caleb McGraw to life," executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers said Thursday.
Nouri - who broke out with the 1983 movie Flashdance - is no stranger to TV fans. He currently stars on Damages as Phil Grey, Patty Hewes' (Glenn Close) ex-husband. The actor appeared in three episodes of NCIS in 2008 as Mossad director Eli David, the father of agent Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). Nouri also has done multiepisode arcs on Brothers & Sisters and The O.C.
