Being one of those vindictive victims of recent string of Hollywood burglaries, The Hills star Audrina Patridge has spoken out about her terrible experience. Us Magazine reports that the group of celeb-obsessed teens responsible for the notorious felony has been busted. Good riddance to that.
The 24-year-old reality TV celebrity's home was targeted along with others, and she's glad that the whole ordeal is finished. She also hopes that the perpetrators of the crime will learn to do what's right, through punishment. "I know they're trying to justify what they did by saying it was a mistake," Patridge said, "but they need to face the consequences."
The suspects - Alexis Neiers, Courtney Ames, Diana Tamayo and Roy Lopez Jr. - are due in court next month. All of them are being accused of stealing more than $3 million in jewelry and designer apparel, taken from the homes of numerous stars. Two others are being charged, namely Nicholas Prugo and Rachel Lee.
During the "I Dream Of Audrina" party in Atlantic City, NJ, The Hills' Audrina Patridge went on to say how the robbers shouldn't make excuses for their actions. They should just deal with what's coming to them because they deserve it.
"It's not a mistake if you do it more than once," she exclaimed.
Even though she's troubled by what happened to her, life has to go on for Audrina. It has been reported that she could be leaving The Hills after this season, but she isn't really sure yet. One thing that's certain is her commitment to another show, which she can rightfully call her own.
"[E]verything is being negotiated and renegotiated," Patridge said. "Right now I'm really looking forward to my new show. It's going to be a whole different tone. It's very raw and real. It's not a soap documentary like The Hills. It's more about Hollywood, what really goes on behind the cameras."
