Which Night Would You Prefer To See Dollhouse Aired?

As most of you know by now, the future of Dollhouse is in serious jeopardy due to low viewer ratings on Friday nights. Right now, the outlook is grim even for a back nine episode order for the second season, let alone a third season. However, many devoted fans are writing letters, signing petitions, and starting campaigns in the show's behalf, so there is still a ray of hope.

Personally, as a last effort to make my voice heard, I am drafting a letter to send to the president of FOX network. As no doubt many of you agree, I feel Dollhouse would have much higher viewer ratings if it were not aired in the Friday death slot. This is going to be a main topic in my letter, and I would like to back this up with some real opinions.

So for those of you reading this, what I would like you to do is comment back as to which night you would like to see Dollhouse aired and, if possible, with which FOX network show you would like to see it paired. This way I can get a feel for what real fans of the show would like to see happen, and not feel as though I am just basing everything I say off my thoughts alone.

Thanks in advance, everyone!

I would personally like to see Dollhouse aired on Tuesday nights, with the best pairing probably being Fringe. What are your thoughts?

I would like to see Dollhouse moved to Wednesday, as I don't really watch anything then...
As for what to pair it with, I would've REALLY liked for it to have been paired with Terminator season three... I guess Fringe is the next most logical choice...

A move to Tuesday would cut into my, and more importantly(for some reason...), my mother and sister's NCIS block. With one working DTV in the house, my only alternative is to wait for the next day...

tuesday or wednesday nights work for me!!!
not sure why the show is in danger apart from the current time slot...the last episode 'Belonging' topped all episodes so far...it just keeps getting better!! I'm certainly game for signing a petition if there is one!!

I agree with you. Dollhouse and Fringe on the same night would be a great pairing. They are both Sci-fi tv shows.

I agree with most of the above, a Tuesday timeslot would likely increase ratings and pairing it with a sci-fi like Fringe would also be great. The friday timeslot really does, in my opinion, hinder the show. If it were almost any other day of the week viewers would be far more likely to watch it, as Friday is for a night when most people go out and TV isn't often a reason to stay in. I am a DJ and am always working Friday nights, so I always end up watching it online at either Fox.com or Hulu. I'm not even certain if those get taken into account as far as the ratings go, but I hope they do. I have found this to be one of the most intelligent shows on television right now, as it delves into more than just a one episode plot and also makes its viewers think of not only possibilities, but also circumstances of peoples actions. To me this show has a profound message and brings it across in a very entertaining way. I can only hope that it gets picked up for another season and Fox realises what a smart, wonderful show it has, and hopfully moves it to a more accomadating timeslot so more people are able to view it. As I have no doubt if people had the opurtunity, this show would gross a much larger number of viewers.

Tuesday is not smart since NCIS pulls the most viewers on TV at 20 mill an ep and LA is around 15-18 an ep Wednesday there would be less comp with other networks unless you make it a 10 show that would prob work well (has for casle)

One of the things I hate most about FOX (well, aside from how it treats Dollhouse and Joss Whedon shows in general, of course) is they don't have a 10/9c time slot. This is an additional five hours per week they could be utilizing, and could definitely weekday opportunities for shows like Dollhouse that get stuck on Fridays. I don't really see the point in cutting to news an hour earlier as most stations air news for two hours before primetime anyway, and regardless of time people generally have one local station they prefer. How I see it is FOX is just taking time away from itself in which it could compete with the other networks. I swear if I were running FOX, things would be totally different...lol!

P.S. Thanks for your comments everyone! This helps me out a bunch!

Ok i know people are going to be writing back hate mail but it was surprise that dollhouse even got a second season TSCC was more popular and that got cancelled Gravity defying when i actually got the ball rolling was better than dollhouse and it got cancelled Eureka only got pulled back because there was a massive fan base so dollhouse in my eyes is pretty much a dead show walking and i really don't think there is a large enough fan base to stop its walk down the green mile

You're right (epsilon) You're comment has nothing to do with this discussion, and even more we don't need pessimists like you ruining our hope.
Anyways, back to the ACTUAL TOPIC, i think Dollhouse should be moved to Tuesday nights, all the users above except for (epsilon) are right, there's nothing on tv that is good that night, and pairing it with Fringe would be a marvelous idea.Wednesday nights is actually another great choice. So for the final decision, Tuesday or Wednesday are our best choices. And let's just hope Fox takes this into consideration and it's smart about it and actually move the show to Tuesday/Wednesday.
Anyways PLEASE PLEASE DON'T CANCEL DOLLHOUSE!!Visit here and sign the petition!! "together, we can make a difference!"
