Real Housewives of New York City newbie Sonja Morgan was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving over Memorial Day weekend.
Morgan, 46, was charged with a misdemeanor DWI on Monday, according to the Southhampton, N.Y., Police Department.
Morgan, who joined Housewives this season, was pulled over after failing to stop at a stop sign in her BMW. "She was processed and held for morning arraignment where she was released on her own recognizance," a police statement said.
Morgan is due back in court June 21.
The cable network that carries the show that focuses on the "real" lives of the housewives issued a statement saying: "Bravo does not comment on the private lives of the talent on our shows."
The Season 3 finale of The Real Housewives of New York City airs Thursday at 10/9c on Bravo.
