Mad Men & Rubicon Get Premiere Dates on AMC

There's no end date yet for Mad Men, but it has received a premiere date - along with new AMC series Rubicon.

Mad Men will kick off Season 4 on Sunday, July 25 at 10/9c, the network announced Tuesday.

The following Sunday will see the two-hour premiere of the cable network's new drama Rubicon at 8/7c. The conspiracy thriller series - AMC's third scripted show behind Mad Men and Breaking Bad - stars The Pacific's James Badge Dale and Miranda Richardson and is set in a New York City-based government intelligence agency. It will shift to its regular time of 9/8c after its debut.

News of Mad Men's premiere comes days after creator Matthew Weiner reportedly suggested the Emmy-winning series will end after six seasons. AMC had a different take.

"No one wants to see Don Draper wearing a leisure suit," the network said in a statement. "We trust Matthew's vision and that he knows where to take the show. But with that said, M*A*S*H figured out how to stretch the Korean War for more than a decade, so stay tuned!"
