Viewers were pretty cool toward two new scripted series on network TV Monday, and the return of "Last Comic Standing" didn't do a ton for NBC either. That left "The Bachelorette" and CBS' rerun lineup as the top performers for the night.
CBS averaged 7.6 million viewers and a 4.9 rating/8 share in households for the night, beating out ABC's 6.9 million and 4.5/8. FOX (5.3 million, 3.4/6) came in third. NBC (4.75 million, 3.1/5) took fourth, while The CW was way off the pace with 728,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.
The top two networks switched places in the adults 18-49 demographic, with ABC's 2.3 rating topping CBS' 2.0. NBC, 1.8, and FOX, 1.6, were not far behind. The CW posted a 0.3.
