Melissa Rycroft is certainly one hot commodity. After being dumped by Jason Mesnick on The Bachelor, the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader has become an instant celebrity overnight with numerous offers trailing her wherever she goes. And it seems that Dancing with the Stars isn't the only one interested in the former bachelorette.
According to Star magazine, Playboy editor Hugh Hefner, who also stars on The Girls Next Door, has offered Rycroft $500,000 to appear nude in the infamous men's publication.
"Hef really wants Melissa to do a pictorial because she's the ultimate girl next door," a source told Star. "He thinks she has it all: beauty, brains and spunk. And it doesn't hurt that she has a terrific figure."
Evidently, Hefner has already sent Rycroft a personal letter asking her to pose naked for Playboy. He has also invited her to his mansion to discuss a possible deal.
As of this moment, however, Rycroft is busy with Dancing with the Stars' eight season. And as long as she's still in the running, she can't bare all.
"It states in her contract with ABC that she cannot pose nude while she's on Dancing," the source told Star. "And she won't even be able to until three months after her season ends!"
Following her stint on The Bachelor, Rycroft joined Dancing with the Stars as a last-minute replacement for injured Access Hollywood co-anchor Nancy O'Dell. Proving that she's a ratings grabber, she made her debut on the reality dance competition on March 9, which was the most watched premiere ever in the show's history, and is presently one of the top contenders this season with professional dance partner Tony Dovolani.
To set the record straight, Access Hollywood caught up with Rycroft after Monday night's broadcast of Dancing with the Stars.
"Is that true?" Access' Tony Potts asked Rycroft of the Playboy offer.
''I don't know where that started," she scoffed.
"That's for me! Hugh Hefner wants me as the centerfold," her dancing partner Tony Dovolani joked.
"No, no," Melissa laughed.
