This is it, foodies. Six renowned chefs from all over the nation won their respective rounds and moved to the champions round, where they face off with the other finalists. On tonight's episode of Top Chef Masters, the top six chefs are made to produce their signature dish, only to find out that they must then re-create their competitor's unique dish. How's that for a twist? Also, a chef may choose to add his or her own personal spin to the dish.
Eventually on the episode, one chef is eliminated while the five remaining move on to the next round of competition.
Setting the mood for the episode, meanwhile, the quickfire challenge will feature the very memorable "Mis en Place" relay race, where the chefs are divided into two teams to determine who still remembers how to prep dishes. This should be exciting, since it's probably been a while since the chefs have been on the line.
The six chef-testants on Top Chef Masters vying for the ultimate prize of $100,000 for their chosen charity plus the title of Top Chef Master are Hubert Keller, Suzanne Tracht, Rick Bayless, Anita Lo, Michael Chiarello and Art Smith.
Much has been said, meanwhile, on the love and goodwill that the four chefs showed each other on the last episode of Top Chef Masters. Although it's chef to the stars Art Smith who eventually advanced to the champions round thanks to his now legendary chicken, the four chefs did what they had to do when they give each other their favorite ingredients in the elimination challenge. Smith got chicken, of course.
