TV ratings: 'Big Brother,' 'AGT' score Wednesday

Both "Big Brother 12" and "America's Got Talent" saw their ratings rise some compared to last Wednesday, with the former scoring the night's best demographic numbers and the latter gathering the biggest overall audience.

Thanks to "AGT," NBC led the night overall with 7.4 million viewers and a 4.6 rating/8 share in households. CBS drew 6.9 million people and a 4.4/8 for second, while FOX (5.1 million, 3.0/5) came in third. ABC's 3.8 million viewers and 2.5/4 were good enough for fourth place. The CW (1.25 million, 0.8/1) trailed.

FOX led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.2 rating (even though, like last week, it didn't win either hour in which it broadcast. Hooray consistency). NBC finished second at 2.0, a tenth of a point ahead of CBS, 1.9. ABC averaged 1.1 and The CW 0.4.
