The Daytime Emmys will feature a tribute to American Bandstand and Dick Clark.
Cher, Barry Manilow, Jay Leno and Simon Cowell are among the stars that will help salute Clark, who hosted Bandstand from 1957 until 1989 and also served as a producer.
The 80-year-old also hosted Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve since its inception in 1972, only missing one year after he suffered a stroke in 2004. Since then, Ryan Seacrest has co-hosted the show with him.
Hosted by Regis Philbin, who incidentally filled in for Clark as the clock struck 2005 in New York, the 37th annual Daytime Emmys will take place Sunday, June 27, in Las Vegas, with The Blue Man Group, Cirque du Soleil, Wayne Newton and other notable Vegas acts scheduled to appear. It'll air on CBS.
"Since this is the first time the Daytime Emmys will be based outside New York or L.A., we're putting together a special that will tap into the energy and excitement of Las Vegas," said David McKenzie, the telecast's executive producer.
