Moonlight Canceled

CBS announced today that Moonlight has been canceled. They have opted not to renew the program for a 13 episode midseason order, as there was still some hope for yesterday.

The show's executive producers have confirmed this upsetting news.

Axing Moonlight is a total enigma!! Don't the multitudes of devotedfans have any say in the matter?? Why would CBS want to trade a 'movie'quality show with superb 'movie stars' for trashy sitcoms and soap-styledramas. Hey, SCI-FI channel, SHOWTIME, HBO, any other network out thereinterested in giving Moonlight a second season??

CBS has gone bloody mad (excuse the pun). What else do they want besides ratings and People's Choice awards. CBS WAKE UP, in the overflow of Crime Drama CSI's, this was a wonderful break for me on Friday night. I even began watching Ghost W (which I never liked before). No More !!! I will not even watch the news on CBS any longer. Say goodbye to your demographic 18-49 year olds on Friday night!!!! I hope they choke on these new, stupid series they are trying for the fall. CW may have a lick of sense and pick this show up.

I agree with everything that everyone is saying here, The show has lots of fans out there. If u check out The Finale Fanfare pole and u can clearly see that it's the most wanted show to watch that week. If you look the the main page on this website for two CBS show's Moonlight and The Unit. they have same number people that have rated the show, and The Unit is in it's 3th season and Moonlight was in this 1st. it show there is big interest in the show. plus it got broadcast in E.U. In Ireland, we have it on LivingTv only 1 weeks behide u guys. it's getting big. same for the UK. Plus, it got the People's Choice Award 2008 for Favorite New Tv Drama. I hope everyone read "AngelKriC" comment, two up from mind. sent them a message.

Unbelievable, finally a deceit Friday night line-up and they are canceling Moonlight? Makes you wonder who makes these stupid decisions, there are so many fans of this show that I know personally from all age groups. I hope some other stations is smart enough to pick it up. Auggie

Email the station. At the bottom of the site there is a "Feedback" and you can choose Moonlight from the drop down menu. It's a shame they are cancelling this show, it's wonderful and was getting even more interesting. It helps that the lead character is MAJOR eye candy. Write them, BRING THIS SHOW BACK!

I am disappointed in CBS. Whenever they get a fresh new idea for a show they cancel it. There is very little to watch on TV and I looked foward to Friday night at 9:00. Put Moonlight back on!

Very poor decision; I am very disappointed in CBS. This is one of the best shows I've seen in a very long time. CBS owes some explanation
