Amidst rumors that Chuck is up for cancellation (or, more accurately, non-confirmation from NBC that it'll be renewed), the fans of the NBC series are already rallying online to convince the network to renew their favorite show. Especially after NBC canceled Crusoe, Lipstick Jungle, and My Own Worst Enemy, rumors are rife that Chuck is next. For his part, the star of the show expressed his gratitude to the fans who are helping to save Chuck, which is two episodes shy of completing its sophomore run.
It's amazing to see how many campaigns have sprung up for the sole purpose of keeping Chuck around, Zachary Levi tells the followers of one of his fan sites. To know that our show evokes that kind of support within our fan base is overwhelming. On behalf of our entire cast & crew, I personally want to thank each and every one of you who has taken up the fight. And I ask that if we are blessed enough to provide you all with another season, that you would fight just as passionately as you are now to spread the word about the show to those who haven't given it a chance yet.
As to how the final two episodes of Chuck would turn out, Vik Sahay, who plays Chuck's Buy More co-employee Lester Patel, said while he's not out to reveal anything too big, he promised it's going to be very exciting.
I had been hearing [show creator] Josh Schwartz talk about a game-changer before I knew what was happening at the end of the season, Sahay said. I thought, 'What could that be?' When I read it and started shooting it, I thought, 'Yes this is a game-changer.'
On the next episode of Chuck, Chuck and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) discover a new-found chemistry after they go AWOL to rescue Chuck's father Steve and spend some time without any surveillance.
