Dollhouse Finale Ratings are Lowest Yet - Featured

We all know how awesome the Dollhouse season finale was, but sadly, those that do know are among the select few that actually watched.

This past Friday's terrific episode of Dollhouse - earned the series its lowest ratings to date - 2.8 million viewers.

For all of us hoping that the show gets a second season, this is obviously terrible news.

From SciFiWire:

"The chances of Dollhouse getting a second season are extremely slim at this point. A couple months ago, the sense was that Fox was hoping to bring back either Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles or Dollhouse. Then Terminator reportedly fell out of the running, but Dollhouse's numbers have been sliding with each episode.

Fox unveils its fall schedule on May 18."

I hope that if Fox doesn't renew, another network (like SciFi maybe ?!?!?) picks it up! It's far too good to lose :(

Come on Fox keep Dollhouse! Terminator got more seasons than it deserved. Please give Dollhouse a fair chance, maybe change the time slot, just don't cancel it.

dollhouse airs on fridays at 9 i think that the viewers they do get for that time is impressive, if they moved the show to a different night with a better lead in then either a show that doesnt get many viewers or a show that was airing its last 5 episodes because of low ratings.Come on fox, theyre being stupid its like they want this show to fail.i agree with mea302 if fox doesnt pick this show up i hope someone else does.

It's because were all watching it on here lol. Dollhouse, given a real chance could be massive. I'm British and thanks to sidereel I don't have to rely on the networks to renew shows so they have an oppitunity to come over here. Given the right channel, possibly BBC or channel 4, and enough publicity Dollhouse would be a huge show here, just like Buffy was. I to this day still partially blame the cancellation of Veronica Mars on the fact it was sold to a cable channel in the UK, that most people didn't have that was mostly full with reruns. I had never even heard of it until I started perusing TV.com for a new show to replace Buffy. If it had been introduced over here properly maybe it would have been a huge hit and never have got canned. You never know... Anyway I have gone way off track. My point is, networks don't seem to be realising these great shows potentials and instead getting rid of them based on a few numbers. A lot of people don't watch actual TV anymore and instead they should be considering the power of the internet coupled with the international market. Stop shoving "Not available in your region" down our throats and realise we actually want to watch the show they are making. They should be counting fans not ratings. Sorry... rant over. I'm literally so fed up of every good show I invest time in getting cancelled. Especially when I see some of the rubbish they're renewing...

Joss Wheden is clever and his stories aren't retreads of everything else we have seen over, and over again. Firefly didn't get the chance it deserved and now they are ready to dump Dollhouse. Once this show catches on it will have a wonderful following. Why do all of these inane programs keep getting picked up and the ones that actually make you think get cut? Dollhouse and Castle need to stay!

what?! No with all the crap out there, they are going to cancel one of the few truly awsome new shows. What is it with them and cancelling the best of Joss Wedon?? Castles goings too????
