Dry those tears, Private Practice fans, because you may be seeing its recently killed off star, Chris Lowell on the big screen very soon.
Lowell, who played Dell on the ABC medical drama, is in negotiations to join the cast of The Help, alongside Emma Stone, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In the film, based on the Kathryn Stockett novel, Stone plays Skeeter, an aspiring writer living in 1960s Mississippi, who is unhappy with the social norms and chronicles the way black maids are treated by society. Lowell will play her boyfriend, Stuart. Viola Davis and Bryce Dallas Howard also star.
Production is set to being this summer in Mississippi.
Lowell, 25, is best known for his role on Private Practice and his recent appearance in the Oscar-nominated Up in the Air.
