The Chicago Blackhawks' Stanley Cup win pulled in the best ratings for televised hockey in a long time on Wednesday, but at least for now FOX and "So You Think You Can Dance" are the night's leaders.
FOX drew just over 8 million viewers and a 4.9 rating/8 share in households in primetime. NBC, which aired the Stanley Cup game, was close behind at 7.6 million and 4.4/8, numbers that will change some when the live broadcast is accounted for. CBS (7 million, 4.7/8) came in third. ABC (3.9 million, 2.6/5) finished fourth, and The CW trailed at 1.2 million viewers and a 0.8/1.
The story was pretty much the same in the adults 18-49 demographic, with FOX's 3.0 rating edging NBC's 2.9. CBS took third with a 1.7, followed by ABC, 1.2, and The CW, 0.5.
