G-Force somewhat surprisingly took the box office crown this weekend, bringing in a total of $32.2 million.
This was enough to defeat Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in its second week, which came in second with another $30 million dollars. To date, Half Blood Prince has grossed an impressive $221.8 million.
Coming in 3rd was Katherine Heigl RomCom The Ugly Truth, earning a career-best $27 million for Heigl.
Rounding out the Top 5:
Orphan - $12.8 million
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - $8.2 million
