Friday's Numbers: Did TSCC Go Out with a Bang? - Featured

This Friday's season (and possibly series) finale of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles performed on par with the show's recent ratings, drawing in just 3.6 million viewers.

We won't know if the show is being renewed until May, but if Friday's episode turns out to be the series finale (which honestly is quite possible), would it serve as a satisfying conclusion to the series?

Following TSCC, Dollhouse also pulled in 3.6 million viewers, which was a slight drop from last week...and also a match for its low in the adult demographic.

Elsewhere, the superb Friday Night Lights season finale (YAY) was up slightly with 4.4 million viewers.

CBS ruled the evening as usual with 9.7 tuning into Flashpoint and 10.2 million watching Ghost Whisperer (which also apparently featured a guest appearance by Hilary Duff), which was the evening's most watched program.

WOW...WOW...WOW
Its about time, they totally got me with that season finale and now I want more of the show. I think the series started to slow down when they were all about Riley Dawson & Jesse. Given I love Stephanie Jacbobsen cause I think she's so hot as well as Summer Glau but the writers might have lost fans with this romance crap from John Connor. The first season was all about chases & keeping John alive which is a main premiss of Terminator. It's Sarah's Chronicles of the events of raising John Connor not their wanna be Home life.
Once they killed Riley it felt more like the way the show was but they lost fans by their mistakes. I think if they keep dong what they did in the Finale there it would catch more attention. FOX needs a new good Scifi series because they haven't been reliable lately to things that actually work. They failed us on some many series that could have been great such as Firefly or Space: Above & Beyond. We FANS can speak out from their terrible rating system. We are the one's that buy the DVD's & Download episodes so we should have a say on what should be on TV and what shouldn't.
Every fan should show their support with petitions for another season. Word of mouth to friends & family about the show. Repost on Facebook or Myspace about clips, news, or events.
With the new Terminator coming out I think it'll give this series a boost to more fans.

I think it really went out with a bang if that is the way it will go. I really enjoyed the show, and look forward to the movie as well.
I think the writers handled the unexpected need to ravel the show up with quite skill as well. It was brilliantly handled and I hope for another season.

There really does need to be a third season to pull all of these loose strings together.
I agree with proofray in that with the whole Jesse/Riley thing, that lost viewers. In a way it was good but it sidetracked from what the story should have been. HOWEVER, without that John may not have grown up or had a chance to view things how he does not.
The last few episodes have been brilliantly done, with the exception of how Derek was killed off, but other than that, it's great.
I for one, am would not be satisfied if that was the conclusion for the entire series. It's good but totally puts everything out of whack.

WHAT!? eligrey, wow. johns father (kyle) dies in the future. Derek is Kyle's brother. Derek is alive because he is killed in the future (after he travels back to 2009).
It's pretty simple.

eligrey, first off, Kyle Reese is not John Connor's brother. Kyle Reese is Derek's brother, and Derek is John's uncle. Good so far? Good. As to the how is Derek alive even though he was killed, that too is simple. John jumped into the future from 2009. The time when he landed is prior to the time that Derek goes back through time to protect John in the past, where he eventually is killed. Derek and John's timelines don't match, so you can't judge Derek's by John's. In short, John is in the future, prior to when Derek goes back in time and gets killed, so Derek is still alive.

yeah and they never heard of john connor....so wtf is up with that, he just time jumped himself out of existance. unless its one of thoes self fullfilling things like where john being like 17 wins over the resistance by explaining everything and they start following him which would be retarded from when he was 17 and not much older like we all think.....and miss weaver .......wtf is up with her pentagonal ass
