After the success of Fast And Furious last year, it was only natural that plans for a sequel would rev up. But now, according to Vin Diesel, the idea is to drum up not one, but two new entries to the high octane series.
Tapping away at an update to his fan page on Facebook, the man himself says, "If 2009's Fast And Furious was chapter one, what writer Chris Morgan just delivered is Chapter 2 and chapter 3.
"I have never been submitted a two story saga from a studio before... it is very exciting, and shows a commitment level that is hard not to respond to."
He doesn't give away an awful lot about the new plans - though you'd figure Paul Walker might be involved in some way - but he does try to ramp up our enthusiasm.
"Excited about the sexy locations the filming of this sag...a would take us... this novel like story, that has twists and unexpected turns that is authentic, truthful and challenging to the characters."
Hhhm Novel-like story? Authentic, truthful and challenging to the characters? Doesn't sound like The Fast And The Furious franchise to us, Vin.
