Lost: Season 4 Letdowns

I know we all love Lost to pieces...but that still doesn't mean that a great season might not have a few flaws.

TV Squad analyzes what they thought were Season 4's few disappointments, including Jack's appendicitis (seriously, what was the point) and Aaron being one of the Oceanic 6.

Everything happens for a reason on the show. Perhaps the appendicitis will play a role in the near future. And Aaron being one of the Oceanic 6 is not a flaw. That's just a catchy name the media came up with.
A "flaw" that I thought of is: we saw the zodiac (small boat from the freighter) currying some of the survivors going towards the freighter. and the helicopter with the Oc 6 + 2 going to the Island. So the two must of came across with each other, since there is only one route from and to the island. The helicopter crashes in the water and the passengers on the zodiac see the explosion of the freighter so WHY didn't they go after the helicopter crash to look for survivors?
But, everything happens for a reason so...

But you forget that they moved the freighter towards the island when the engine was fixed, hence the helecopter couldnt find it at first. Also we dont know what the radius of the teleportation is, the zodiac may have been closer so maybe it got transported witht them or part of the way. Hey we could go all day and work up idea of the show, the most likely thing that would happen is that we are all wrong and the show will shock us some more, n ill drink to that!

Jack's appendicitis is very important. Everyone else got better on the island, jack is the only one to have gotten sick.

What's everyone's view on the theory that Jin jumped from the freighter and the zodiac picks him up but Sun has a memorial anyway because she thinks he's dead and then they are re-united when Ben takes everyone back to the island?.......anyone?......as stof1984 said, we could predict every route possible and it will still shock us some way. That's why I love it.

jin and michel cant make it back to the island because it disapeared and the heilcopter didnt make it back it time so if they did, they swim faster than a helicopter, if jin is back in the next season (on the island) then the producers have messed up big time

Jack getting sick wasn't pointless at all. People on the Island don't get sick, they get better. Ben had a tumor on his spine - the Island telling him that's he's not the leader anymore. Locke regaining the use of his legs - the leadership has been passed over. When Jack called the freighter at the end of season three, he put the Island in danger, and in retaliation he can now get sick. It wasn't a let down at all.
