Michael Phelps is Taking Over Your Television

I'm not obsessed with Michael Phelps. I swear (despite the fact that I have been posting about him on a daily basis). It's just...he is going to be invading our TV screens over the course of the next month and I would be remiss if I did not inform you of all possible opportunities to catch him in action.

We already learned yesterday that Phelps would be hosting the SNL season opener.

He also has already made an appearance on Leno.

And now:

Phelps will be making a cameo in Entourage.

He will appear on Oprah (with 150 other US Olympians).

He's a presenter at the VMAs.

He is one busy guy...

I love the Phelpsy, but wow! I guess he's just that charming boy next door that we're just eating up as the American we all want to be, sigh. I hope he does well in these TV appearances because we don't want to start remembering him as that awesome Olympian who accidentally tripped Lindsay Lohan into a disastrous fall at the VMAs... or DO we??

Lohan doesn't need anyone to trip her, she's good enough at that all on her own. ;)
As for Phelps, when you're at the top of your game, it's a great idea to milk all you can out of it while you're still hot. He's definitely set the bar high and I think the next Olympics will be an 'on the edge of your seat' kinda meet as we watch all the Olympians do extraordinary things. I just hope no one keels over in the process and does it as healthily as possible!
