EW.com's Michael Ausiello reports that a notable new recurring character has been cast on the final season of Lost. Sheila Kelley, best known for her three year stint on LA Law, will be playing "Kendall" on Season 6 of the series, debuting in 2010.
Ausiello says that casting notices described Kendall as, "an intellectual beauty with a sharp edge to her wit who is caught committing corporate espionage and has to lie her way out." Although he cautions that considering how much Lost producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof are protecting plot points for the final season, that description could be a ruse.
Season 6 of Lost is said to feature the return of a ton of characters, including those who have died. But Ausiello also reports that one we won't be seeing is Mira Furlan as Danielle Rousseau. Ausiello's source says Furlan turned down an offer to reprise the role of Rousseau one last time due to a "prior overseas commitment."
