Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, one of the stars on The Real Housewives of New York City, is back in the dating circuit once again, less than a year after she and her husband Count Alexandre de Lesseps filed for divorce to dissolve their 16-year marriage. According to People, the reality TV starlet is now seeing French wine distributor Jacques Azoulay.
"I feel very lucky," the Real Housewives star tells People of her new romance. "We met at a party for a friend of mine who is a singer. The first time I saw him, I was like, 'Wow!' He's a wow kind of guy. He's just lovely."
Countess LuAnn and Jacques Azoulay have been spending time most recently in the City of Light, where she's met some of his relatives.
"I just got back from Paris for Valentine's Day. We went to see the parts of Paris that Jacques grew up in ... it went very well. [His family are] very nice people, lovely people. In Paris, we had a walk at the Place de la Concorde ... we did a tour at 2am after dinner. It was amazing," de Lesseps recalls. "There was nobody on the streets of Paris and it was lit up like a scene from a movie. It was so beautiful."
"I never thought I would be lucky enough to find somebody like that again in my life," adds the Countess, who is set to return for the third season of The Real Housewives of New York City in March.
Countess LuAnn is the fourth wife of Count Alexandre, a descendant of Ferdinand de Lesseps of the Suez Canal family. The couple reportedly split due to the Count's extramarital affair with an Ethiopian woman in Geneva. Sadly and ironically, the Etiquette Queen received the news from the Count via email.
