Aside from endorsing clothes and herself, Kim Kardashian has yet another new venture: promoting healthy eating through Carl's Jr. Premium Salads. The 28-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is one of the latest celebrities to support the green-eating campaign through a new commercial of hers.
According to People.com, the reality TV celebrity was thrilled to become the face for new Carl's Jr. ads. "The salads are healthy, and it totally fits what I'm about right now," Kim told the publication.
Despite the healthy message of the commercials, the socialite still can't put meat aside that quickly. Then again, she's already proud of herself for being chosen for such an advertisement.
"I'm always down for a burger, I love them and I eat them,' she exclaimed. "But this is the first commercial they've ever done for anything but a burger."
The ad features Kim Kardashian taking her salads to bed, giving off her usual sultry and sexy aura all the while. It was even her idea to do so.
"I told them about my life and how I'm such a neat freak, but I love to have bed picnics - I put out my towel and eat in bed, and then when it gets all messy I take a hot bubble bath after to wash it off. You'll see that sexy wow factor in this one," Kim explained.
It was easy for her to agree to the campaign since some of her fondest childhood memories involves the fast food chain. "[D]riving to Las Vegas, my dad would take the family and we'd stay at Circus Circus and we always stopped at Carl's Jr.," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star announced.
"I remember this food fight my sisters and I all had in the back of the van - it was so funny. We got in so much trouble!"
Kim's Carl's Jr. commercial was directed by Chris Applebaum, who was also responsible for the memorable Paris Hilton ad in 2005. Even this Kardashian found that unforgettable.
"The commercials are iconic," Kim went on. "You'll never forget Paris washing that car! So I just wanted to make mine as hot and sultry as all of theirs."
