By the Numbers: Thursday, October 16th

What was everyone watching on TV last night?

CBS won the night with strong performances by Survivor: Gabon (12.9 million viewers), CSI (18.million) and another strong outing by new show Eleventh Hour (12 million).

Over on NBC, Kath and Kim cooled down (as expected) with only 6 million viewers, while The Office and Thursday Night Live were again both in the 8 million range.

On ABC, Grey's Anatomy improved on last week with 14.6 million viewers, but unfortunately, Life on Mars took a hit and had only 8.5 million. That's a 25% percent decline from last week's strong premiere and not a good sign for its future.

Smallville and Supernatural grabbed 4.1 and 3.1 million viewers respectively for The CW.

Fox aired Hole in the Wall and Kitchen Nightmares, which barely beat The CW; the network averaged 4 million viewers for the night.
