Heroes' Zachary Quinto Addresses Cancellation

Zachary Quinto has reached out to fans following the cancellation of hit U.S. show "Heroes", insisting the decision still seems "surreal" to him. After four years on TV screens, bosses at America's NBC announced last week that the fourth season, which concluded in February, will be the last.

Producers are said to be in negotiations to end the show with a short mini-series or movie - but Quinto admits the decision to end Heroes has hit him hard. In a touching post on his official website, the actor thanks his loyal fans and pays tribute to his "amazing cast mates" who he will miss "most of all".

I'm sure the cancellation did hit him hard because he has to come to terms with the fact that he is a bad actor and almost ruined the entire Star Trek movie with his poor, too human, portrayal of Spock. Heroes was also bad but not because of Zarchary Quinto. Heroes got bad when they tried to explain storylines they never thought out, had no direction for where the show was going and and wasted characters, ignored story and half thoguht ideas which all fizzled into nothing. But really, the end of 5th season should have just happened at the end of second, but that's thinking that this shows actually thought things through. And if they did think things through, my condolences because they created something in advance that parallels this inconsistency of "Pirates of the Caribbean 2" and it seems like after every show the reigns of writer are handed off to some random person who decides the rewrite the show ignoring anything he/she didn't like about the previous episode.

wow you must be a moron seeing as it was the sylar character that was holding the show together through season 3, Zachary Quinto portrayal of sylar was the saving grace for the show. focus on claire's character in season 4 brought the show to a halt not to mention a carnival hobo whom shouldn't have been on the show to begin with... as for saying heroes didn't carry through what happened in previous episodes is a joke; just because you couldn't recall an event from 3/4 episodes back that was integral to the storyline don't bash the show; learn to pay attention/ remember things

Quinto sucked through the entire series. I've never seen a dumber villain than this idiot. Even after being godmodded up the bumhole, he couldn't achieve half the crap that other, great, villains have done on other shows.
I agree, the Claire storylines have been terrible. I hope this mini-series gets made, because the series ended on a very weak note.
